A huge congratulations to Professor Shafi Ahmed, the 'Virtual Surgeon,' from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London, and The Royal London Hospital, for winning the prestigious NHS 70 award for his pioneering use of technology in surgery.

RAHETID is honoured to have had Professor Ahmed teach on our pilot MRCS, and to have been part of the historic moment when the world's first VR surgery was performed by Professor Ahmed, which RAHETID streamed live at their premises for students and doctors.

We look forward to seeing Professor Ahmed grace our presence in the future.
